Caroline Kennedy’s closeness to Michael Bloomberg and his team may not be quite the asset she originally imagined. Kennedy’s advisers have told Mayor Bloomberg’s aide Kevin Sheekey to throw down his pompoms lest they kill her Senate aspirations. "There had been huge missteps in the way [City Hall] constructed this," a source tells the Daily News. “The Bloomberg support has not been helping.” The report comes after The Times reported that Sheekey was pressuring labor leaders to “get on board now.”
