The family of slain British student Meredith Kercher spoke to reporters Monday in Perugia, Italy, as the jury deliberated the fate of Amanda Knox and codefendant Raffaele Sollecito in their murder-conviction appeal. During the press conference, Stephanie Kercher said her sister “has been mostly forgotten” in the media storm over the trial. “As long as they decide today based purely on the information available to them and they don’t look into the media hype, I think justice will be found,” she said. Her mother and brother are also in Perugia for the expected verdict.
