A teenager armed with two swords took about 20 children hostage at a kindergarten in France on Monday. According to the Ministry of Education, he “has demands,” though it’s unclear what they are. He has released the children so far in three batches, but continues to hold five students and their teacher hostage. The incident is at the Charles Fourier school in the borough of Planoise.
