The New York Knicks announced today that Head Coach Mike Woodson had been fired along with coaching assistants Jim Todd, Herb Williams, Darrell Walker, and LaSalle Thompson. Fans began chanting “Fire Woodson” as early as November, despite the fact that he coached them last year to an Atlantic Division title. Woodson was seen packing his belongings from the Knicks’ training facility in Tarrytown, N.Y. “I’ve got to clear my head first before making any comments,” he said.
