Despite the 988,884 fans who voted him in to the 2014 NBA All-Star Game, Lakers star Kobe Bryant doesn¹t want the spot. "With all due to respect to the fans that voted me in, I certainly appreciate that and they know I appreciate that, but you got to do the right thing. You got to reward these young guys for the work they have been putting in," said Bryant. Only Warriors guard Stephen Curry received more West votes than Kobe. Bryant seemed disinclined to attend the game, saying "no" at first when asked if he'd play in the game. Due to injuries, Bryant has played in only six games this season.
