Kobe Bryant has no intention of retiring, despite injuries that will keep him off the court for months. “I can’t say it is the end,” the 36-year-old said during an interview with NBA TV. Bryant is firm that he has no plans to retire, even though he is still recuperating from shoulder surgery for a torn rotator cuff. That injury occurred after he played in just six games following his recovery from a torn Achilles tendon, which had also benched him. Bryant says he has hopes he and the Los Angeles Lakers will bounce back the way the San Antonio Spurs have. “I thought the Spurs were done 20 years ago. Those guys are still winning. I’m hoping I can have the same rebirth,” he said during the interview.
