The Kremlin is reportedly incensed following a weekend interview with President Trump in which Fox News’s Bill O’Reilly called Russian President Vladimir Putin “a killer.” During the segment, Trump responded to say that the U.S. has “a lot of killers,” too. Putin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on Monday ignored Trump’s comments but called O‘Reilly’s remarks “unacceptable and offensive.” He added, “We would like to receive an apology to the president from this respected organization.” Trump has repeatedly, since he announced his campaign, praised the Russian leader and indicated that he would like for relations between the two countries to improve during his time in the Oval Office.
