Reality TV can’t keep a pro athlete’s career alive, it seems. The Dallas Mavericks announced Monday that Lamar Odom will be on the inactive list for the rest of the season—and won’t be playing for the team in the future. Odom had been traded from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Mavs just before the start of the season, but after performing poorly in 50 games with the team, both parties appeared ready to put the partnership behind them. General Manager Donnie Nelson said, “Look, it’s been a frustrating situation. Lamar hasn’t performed like he wants to perform, is capable of performing ... We just need to move on.”
