Unlike the rest of America, which has been watching Amanda Bynes’s public self-destruction with a sick fascination, Lance Bass is actually seriously concerned. Apparently the ex-‘N Sync member and the former child star are old friends—Bass produced the 2005 movie Love Wrecked, starring Bynes—and he’s been particularly disturbed by her more than unusual behavior. “It’s one of those situations where obviously there’s some mental problems there and she’s not able to see that. We all are [able to see it],” Bass said on a Las Vegas radio show this week. “No one is able to get to her. I’m actually really scared for her, and I hope someone is about to get to her to give her the help she needs.”
