Another turn in Larry King’s rocky marriage: His wife, Shawn, overdosed on pills on May 28, according to RadarOnline.com, which posted the 911 call. In the call, Shawn’s father, Karl Engemann, tells the 911 operator, “I can’t wake her up . . . She may have overmedicated.” He goes on to say, “I don’t think she did it on purpose. . . It wouldn’t be suicidal.” Asked about her condition, he says, “She’s unconscious. I slap her and I holler at her and she opens her eyes half way and puts them back down again.” The AP reports that Shawn is recovering now.
