On Bill O’Reilly’s show this week, three white people debated whether racism is a problem in America. What could go wrong, except the entire premise of the segment?
Larry Wilmore balanced out the conversation by gleefully inserting himself into the debate on his own show. When O’Reilly dismissed America's history of slavery with a casual “So what?” Wilmore jumped in to respond.
“Slavery is what the whole Confederate flag debate is about, you cannot ‘so what’ it away,” Wilmore said. “You know what I say to the fact that you think racism doesn’t exist in America? So what!”
