Mandalay Bay gunman Stephen Paddock described himself as someone who gambled all night and slept all day during a 2013 deposition, CNN reported Monday. The testimony was part of a civil lawsuit against Cosmopolitan Hotel, where Paddock claimed he slipped and fell in 2011. Paddock, who four years later would open fire on a Las Vegas concert crowd and kill at least 58 people, also said he was constantly on Valium to treat anxiety and kept a doctor on retainer to prescribe it to him. He described betting as much as $1 million a night, which he said was not a lot of money, but wandered around in sweatpants and flip-flops.
