Two attorneys in Charleston filed a federal lawsuit on Monday alleging that a restaurant's white owners beat a black employee and essentially enslaved him for years. The lawsuit has 14 accusations including false imprisonment and unfair labor practices for their client Christopher Smith. He is described as being mentally handicapped and was rescued by social workers last year.
