Le Pen: Ebola Could Solve Immigration

Jean-Marie Le Pen, the former French presidential candidate, founder of France’s far-right National Front, and father to likely presidential candidate Marine Le Pen, declared at a rally that the deadly Ebola virus could solve France’s immigration issues “in three months.” Le Pen was speaking at a joint rally with his daughter, and he sounded the alarm on immigration, declaring “There is a demographic explosion in the world and a risk of submersion. A replacement of [the national population] is underway.” His statements fly in the face of attempts by his daughter to “detoxify” the party, which has been accused of rampant anti-Semitism throughout its history.
