Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James was unanimously named the Most Valuable Player of the NBA Finals after his team defeated the Golden State Warriors in Game 7 on Sunday night. It was James’s third time receiving the award. During the series, James averaged almost 30 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists. “I came back for a reason,” James said. “I came back to bring a championship to our city. I knew what I was capable of doing.”
The team was welcomed back to Cleveland on Monday by thousands of cheering fans on the tarmac at Hopkins International Airport.
