Lenny Kravitz talks retro with Versace

With friends like these, who needs journalists? Grammy Award-winning musician sat down with Donatella Versace for Interview to wax nostalgic about each of their favorite era: the ‘80s. Why? Kravitz is re-releasing his 1989 debut album, “Let Love Rule,” and it’s been a good long while since Versace’s made waves. Despite the ‘80s revival on the runways in the past few years, Versace said going back to the fashion house’s definitive decade would be a step backward. Instead, she’s focusing her fall collection around all things metallic alongside big trenches and super-femme dresses. Said Versace, “I think we should move forward, not back.”
