Just days after Discovery announced its acquisition of Sarah Palin’s Alaska, the father of the former governor’s daughter’s baby, Levi Johnston, is pitching his own docu-series to MTV. Similar to Palin’s show, Johnston would be showing viewers his take on Alaska and, if the executive producer of the show would have it, it would premiere “at the exact same hour, minute, and second as Sarah Palin’s does.” The show is tentatively titled Levi Johnston’s Final Frontier and could be “Jersey Shore on ice,” said the producer. Despite apparent competition, Johnston’s show was in the works before Palin made her announcement, he claims. It’s Palin’s daughter Bristol, however, who will beat both of them to the screen when she appears on an episode of The Secret Life of the American Teenager mid-summer.
