As the worst-ever Ebola outbreak continues, Liberia announced it will close some of its schools and is even considering taking the drastic step of quarantining some communities. The country also ordered all nonessential government workers to 30-day compulsory leave. So far, Ebola has been the source of 672 deaths in Liberia, Guinea, and Sierra Leone. “We need the support of the international community now more than ever. We desperately need all the help we can get,” said Lewis Brown, Liberia’s information minister. The Peace Corps announced Wednesday that it was pulling 340 volunteers out of the three countries.
