BP suspended its oil containment operation on Tuesday after lightning struck the ship capturing oil and caused a fire on board. The fire was extinguished without injury, but the operation will not resume until Tuesday afternoon. Meanwhile, Gulf officials revised upward the estimate amount of leaking oil; they now place the number between 35,000 and 60,000 barrels per day.
