In Euskirchen, Germany, one person was killed in a blast Friday in an area where many unexploded bombs dropped by Allied forces in World War II remain. The lethal munitions are common in the region: Just this past spring, part of central Berlin was evacuated after a Russian aerial bomb was discovered just feet from a train track.
