31-year-old rapper Torrence Hatch, a.k.a. Lil Boosie, has been released from Louisiana State Penitentiary, where he spent the last four years locked up on drug charges. Boosie was accused of paying a 19-year-old to kill the rap artist Terry Boyd in 2009, but was found not guilty. However he also pleaded guilty that year to a marijuana possession charge. That sentence was extended when he was caught smuggling drugs into prison.
