Barbra Streisand has always been wont to discuss her private life, but now she’s letting us into her home—literally. In a new book, A Passion for Design, Streisand will present a tour of her many homes, from an early apartment in New York to her new, sprawling mansion in Malibu. The book, which Viking will publish, is illustrated with photos of many of the homes, and includes 50,000 words of text. Streisand has also recently said that she’s been working on chapters for a separate book, a memoir, which she’s still not sure she’ll publish. “I go back and forth,” she told the Associated Press. “Do I really want to write about my life? Do I really want to relive my life? I’m not sure.”
