The wounds from the January 8 shooting in Tucson are apparently too raw to try the main suspect there: Federal authorities are planning to move Jared Loughner’s trial to San Diego, according to The Washington Post. Part of the reason for the move is that an Arizona federal judge, John Roll, was killed in the rampage. San Diego is the closest judicial district to Arizona, plus it's home to Loughner’s attorney and the San Diego-based judge who was appointed to the case after all Arizona judges recused themselves. The move is not yet official, but a source says, "It's going to happen. It's just a matter of time.''
