Macklemore Goes Dumpster Diving on Sesame Street

This is not your Dad’s Sesame Street, or even yours. Those familiar muppets can now be seen rapping on what looks like a Brooklyn stoop with a Grammy winner–admittedly, one whose bona fides have occasionally been questioned.

This skit scores a lot higher on the Hip Meter than any I can remember from my youth, as Macklemore and the Grouches drop rhymes about their dumpster diving style choices to the tune of his breakout hit, “Thrift Shop.” The times they are a-changin'.
