Man: Blue Ivy Ruined Hospital Visit

Says Beyoncé’s bodyguards kept him from his newborns.

Not everyone is so excited over the birth of Blue Ivy Carter. Neil Coulon, whose wife gave birth to premature twins at Lenox Hill Hospital over the weekend, claims that Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s security team took over the hospital and prevented him from seeing his children. Coulon said that he was repeatedly barred from the sixth-floor neonatal unit and that bodyguards cleared his relatives from a sixth floor waiting room. Beyoncé and Jay-Z reportedly paid over $1.3 million to seal off a wing of the hospital, in order to protect their privacy. Coulon said, “This is the NICU. Nobody cares if you’re a celebrity. Nobody is star-gazing. They just want to see their children.”
