The Kalamazoo County prosecutor has charged 50-year-old Charles Edward Pickett Jr with five counts of second-degree murder after his pickup truck drove into a group of bicyclists on Tuesday, killing five people. Pickett will also face four counts of reckless driving resulting in serious injury, due to the four other victims he injured in the incident. The bicyclists—known as "The Chain Gang"—were on a weekly 30-mile ride when Pickett allegedly plowed into them from behind.
