To preface: this happened on the Jersey Shore. A samurai sword is apparently the weapon of choice for John Jandola, a 35-year-old man, who reportedly held the weapon to his neighbor’s throat after being told to clean up a bad smell. Police charged the man with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose—although it’s hard to say when using a samurai sword would be appropriate—and his bail was set at $30,000.
