Man Guilty of Murdering Exchange Student

HELD ACCOUNTABLE

Shot teenager twice.

Markus Kaarma, 30, has been found guilty of deliberate homicide for the April shooting of a German exchange student. Kaarma shot 17-year-old Diren Dede twice with an assault rifle in Missoula, Montana. The first shot in the arm was survivable, the second hit the teenager in the head and was fatal. Dede was apparently looking for alcohol in Kaarma’s garage.
