A man has filed a lawsuit against the Austin Catholic diocese alleging its bishops knew that he was being abused by a priest and did nothing to stop it. The man, identified as John Doe, said that Rev. Milton Eggerling, who is now deceased, sexually abused him as a child and gave him special treatment as a spiritual mentor prior to the abuse.
