Gill Parker Payne has pleaded guilty to obstructing the exercise of religious beliefs after yanking a Muslim woman's hijab off her head while on a flight from Chicago to Albuquerque. “Take it off! This is America!” he yelled at her. Payne faces a maximum penalty of a year in jail and a fine of up to $100,000.
