There may only be four episodes left of the ‘80s revivals and guest stars that made up the widely adored first season of Glee, but for some lucky fans across America, the show is coming to them. The Glee Live! in Concert tour begins in Phoenix, Arizona this weekend and Rachel, Finn, Kurt, Puck, Quinn, Santana, Brittany, Mercedes, Artie, Tina, Mike, and Matt will be making the rounds for the four-city engagement. After its first stop in Phoenix this weekend, the tour will hit Universal City, California, for four nights and spend two more in Rosemont, Illinois, before putting on a whopping five shows at New York’s Radio City Musical Hall during Memorial Day weekend. “The response of the fans to our little show has been so immediate and so gratifying, we wanted to get out and thank them live and in person,” Glee creator Ryan Murphy said in a statement. “We can’t wait to take this show on the road.” With expected performances to include “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Somebody to Love,” and “Sweet Caroline,” Gleeks’ heads may be exploding. “If you had told me a year ago that I’d be performing classic-rock songs in concert theaters around the country, I would never have believed you,” Cory Monteith, who plays Finn, said. “We are psyched!”

Nas is old as hell at this point, for a rapper, and somehow he's managed to release a string of albums that just aren't very good, even though his lyrical ability has only fallen off very slightly since 1994 masterpiece, Illmatic. Blame it on subpar production and just a general lack of energy and new ideas, but it can be painful to longtime Nas fans, so pairing up with Damian Marley—son of Bob, singer of "Welcome to Jamrock"—is an exciting propostion. Distant Relatives, an album-length collaboration, has us listening.

Nas and Damian Marley's Distant Relatives comes out Tuesday, May 18.

Jennifer Lopez is bracing herself after the fall she took at the American Music Awards last year (and the fall her last film, The Back-Up Plan, took at the box office) and will be honored at the World Music Awards this week in Monaco. Hosted by former Lost star Michelle Rodriguez, the event at the luxurious Monte Carlo Sporting Club honors Jenny from the Block for her “Outstanding Contribution to Art” and Scorpions for their “Outstanding Contribution to Rock.” Yes, “Rock You Like a Hurricane” is a piece of ‘80s classic rock history, but is “Waiting for Tonight” really considered art? Monaco may need to up their musical standards, but we’ll wait to judge until we see what J. Lo brings to the stage this week.

Some Sex and the City devotees may actually be excited to see the upcoming sequel for its plot, but others (not this writer, of course) would prefer to watch it on mute in slow motion to see every last detail of Carrie, Miranda, Samantha, and Charlotte’s amazing wardrobes. Can’t wait? Fashion-obsessed fans can purchase the book, Sex and the City 2: The Stories. The Fashion. The Adventure. Though star Sarah Jessica Parker and writer Michael Patrick King joined forces to produce the book’s introduction, Eric Cyphers, a producer of the ultimate chick flick, authored the remainder. Cyphers, who has worked with Sex and the City since its inception as an HBO series more than a decade ago, brings readers on a largely photographic and behind-the-scenes journey of the characters’ looks and stories from the crew and the stars, including SJP, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis. In its hefty 500 pages, the book details each look Carrie wears in the sequel, right down to the brand. Clothes horses, giddy up.

Many know her only as Johnny Depp’s partner, but Vanessa Paradis is proving her talents as a model this week with the fall launch of the Coco Cocoon line of bags for Chanel. The Parisian actress and singer has had a longstanding relationship with the French fashion house, having modeled for both fragrances and bags since 1992. Following Lily Allen, Paradis has served as somewhat of a muse to Karl Lagerfeld, who shot the campaign for the Fall 2010 collection in Paris. The Coco Cocoon bags, which begin at $695, offer a more sporty chic style as opposed to Chanel’s classic quilted bags—and Paradis looks perfect with them. “I have often photographed her for magazines or advertising campaigns and each time it’s a pleasure,” Lagerfeld told Frillr.com between shots. “We have formed a real bond in our working relationship. She has been to my studio a number of times, and it’s as if she were coming to the house for dinner.”

It’s no secret that acclaimed artist Andy Warhol was a fan of Polaroids, but Good Will Hunting director Gus Van Sant proves he can make magic off-screen and alongside pop artists in a new exhibition at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art at the University of Oregon, One Step Big Shot: Portraits by Andy Warhol and Gus Van Sant, opening this week. Warhol famously used Polaroids to craft his painting and screenprints, while the acclaimed American moviemaker also appreciates the instant gratification film offers in helping to create the characters in his award-winning movies. Van Sant was an art student studying painting at the Rhode Island School of Design in the 1970s, then made art a hobby while he turned his focus on making independent movies. The director began using a Polaroid regularly as a practical tool when he was a photo assistant and would later use the instant camera to test lighting set-ups and cast actors, but not as an artistic device. He told OregonLive.com that he didn’t intend for the shots to become a diary of his career. But his photos of stars from Nicole Kidman to Charlize Theron are just that. "The attraction of the camera for me was to have a large-format negative," Van Sant said. "The instant quality wasn't quite as important to me.”

One person the publishing industry doesn’t cover enough—Barack Obama. Who is he? Where does he come from? How did he win the presidential election? What was it like, his first year in office? Thanks to Newsweek's Jonathan Alter, we have the answers, and they are: A Muslim, Kenya, ACORN thugs, and Socialism! Ha, just kidding. The answers are, "a guy," "Hawaii," "by being the best candidate," and "hard but ultimately worthwhile." See? You don't even need to read the book! But if you want to, it's called The Promise, and comes out this week. Apparently, it contains an anecdote about Carla Bruni attempting to have a "sex talk" with Michelle Obama, so, sounds awesome.

The Daily Beast Speed Reads The Promise

The Promise: President Obama, Year One comes out Tuesday, May 18.

Russell Brand, also known as "That Weird Guy Who Hosted the MTV Movie Awards, I Think He Was British, Or Australian," has had an interesting life. And by "interesting," we mean, "drug-and-sex-filled." But we don't need to tell you that! He says so right in the title of his book, which is out in paperback this week. Brand, whose greatest moment was when he made fun of the Jonas Brothers for being virgins, only to discover that America takes virginity incredibly seriously, especially when it applies to the Jonas Brothers, is a pretty smart guy, for someone who wears his hair like that, and My Booky Wook is a very good read, even though it's called that.

My Booky Wook comes out in paperback on Tuesday, May 18.
