DOWNPOUR

Texas, Oklahoma hit especially hard.

Spring showers are no joke: this past May was the wettest month on record for the lower 48 U.S. states. According to the National Oceanic Atmospheric Adminstration, the month saw an average of 4.36 inches of rain, topping the previous record of October 2009 by .07 inches.
