A truck reportedly ran over dozens of people in Nice, France, according to eyewitness accounts posted on social media. One user tweeted a photo of injured or potentially deceased individuals laying on the street. The incident appears to have occurred around the time of celebratory fireworks for Bastille Day along the Promenade des Anglais. Witnesses posted videos of people frantically running away from the scene. “The driver of the truck seems to have left dozens dead,” said Christian Estrosi, president of the Nice Cote d’Azur region.
