After hearing that Michele Bachmann is more than $1 million in debt, John McCain felt he should do something to help. The senator decided he'd host a fundraiser for his fellow failed presidential candidate in D.C. this week, so that she’ll have some cash with which to run her House reelection campaign. Bachmann, at least, seems confident in McCain’s fundraising skills, saying over the weekend, “No other member of Congress in the history of the United States Congress has ever raised more money for election” than she did in 2010. “And I’ll do it again this time.”
