Sarah Palin’s not taking orders from anyone: She has endorsed Christine O’Donnell, the Tea Party candidate in Delaware who’s taking on centrist Mike Castle in the primary for the Republican nomination for Joe Biden’s Senate seat. This is likely to ruffle some feathers in the GOP, as much of the party has been rallying behind Castle; O’Donnell was recently criticized harshly by Bill Kristol’s Weekly Standard and has been lampooned for claiming that Castle supporters broke into and vandalized her home and office way back in 2008 (there’s no police report of the incident). Palin announced her endorsement by calling in to Sean Hannity’s radio show.
