Fox News’s Megyn Kelly cannot be stopped. After just one month on the air, Kelly is already the second most-watched cable news show, behind just Bill O’Reilly. In her 9 p.m. slot, The Kelly File averaged 2.2 million viewers (The O’Reilly Factor had 2.8 million viewers), up from the 1.6 million viewers that Sean Hannity averaged in August in that same timeslot. To be fair, Kelly’s show debuted in October, a highly viewed month in cable news due to the shutdown. Fox News is the top-watched cable news network, with an average of 1.9 million viewers per night, compared with 780,000 on MSNBC and 525,000 on CNN.
