According to TMZ, Melissa Rivers is planning to sue the medical center where her mother, Joan Rivers, died during a throat procedure last month. The New York Dept. of Health and Human Services found that Yorkville Endoscopy LLC was “deficient” in surgical services and medical staff, but Rivers apparently intends to sue in order to get doctors and staff to sit for sworn depositions, which would force them to answer questions about exactly what happened the day her mother died.
