NBC Universal announced on Tuesday that it will be launching Meredith Vieira's new talk show in September 2014. The midafternoon show, titled The Meredith Vieira Show, is expected to be a mix of celebrity and human-interest stories. Vieira's furniture and family photographs will be used to decorate the set in an attempt to make it more intimate. Fifty-nine-year-old Vieira, who is currently a special correspondent for NBC News, previously hosted Today, The View, and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. She's currently a correspondent for NBC News.
