The Miami Herald endorsed Sen. Marco Rubio in the Florida primary, calling on voters Wednesday to change the course of the election by supporting the Florida senator. In an editorial, the paper argued that Florida and Ohio, both states that have yet to vote, are “the nation’s biggest swing states, crucial for candidates who want to win the ultimate showdown in November.” Though the paper said it disagrees with Rubio on issues including abortion, the Affordable Care Act, and climate change, it called him “best remaining candidate with a mostly positive message and a practical nomination.”
