A new development in first ladies being uncontroversial: Michelle Obama and Laura Bush will appear together on the ninth anniversary of September 11 in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, where United flight 93 crashed. According to the National Park Service, they’ll appear with others including Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell and Interior Secretary Ken Salazar. It will take place at the site where a memorial for flight 93 is being built.
