Asked by Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Abby Huntsman if President Donald Trump has “ever admitted to being a sexual assaulter,” Mike Huckabee said Sunday morning, “I don’t recall that that’s ever happened.” The question came in response to comments made by Hillary Clinton in a recent interview with BBC One to promote her book What Happened. After praising the women who came forward about their “disgusting and heartbreaking” experiences with Harvey Weinstein, Clinton said, “It is important we do not just focus on him and whatever consequences flow from his behavior, but that we recognize that this behavior cannot be tolerated anywhere, whether it is in entertainment, or politics—after all, we have someone admitting to being a sexual assaulter in the Oval Office.” Clinton was referring to the 2005 Access Hollywood tape in which Trump said, “You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful—I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything.” That incident seemed to have slipped Huckabee’s mind.
