What a story: Nine days after the 9.0 magnitude earthquake and tsunami hit Japan, rescuers found a 16-year-old boy on the roof of his house in the devastated city of Ishinomaki, yelling for help. He led them inside to his 80-year-old grandmother. Both were airlifted to a nearby hospital. Meanwhile, the official death toll rose to 8,133, with 12,272 people still missing. As many as 15,000 people may have been killed in the Miyagi prefecture. It looks likely that the death toll will top 20,000.
