Missile Mistakenly Sent to Cuba Returned

The Cubans had it for over a year.

A Hellfire missile accidentally sent to Cuba in 2014 has been returned to the United States, State Department officials said on Saturday. The return of the inert training missile marks an end to a strained diplomatic situation as the missile contained sensitive technology. In 2014 the missile was rerouted in Germany and then put on a plane to Cuba, where it remained for more than a year.
