Missouri Legislature to Honor Limbaugh

Hall of Fame

Sen. McCaskill polls Missourians' reactions.

The Missouri State Legislature announced plans to honor Rush Limbaugh on Tuesday by placing a bust of the controversial radio host in the capitol's Hall of Famous Missourians. Sen. Claire McCaskill from Missouri reacted to the plan by posting a poll on her website, asking readers what they think about this decision. The post notes, "Just last week, Rush launched into a vitrolic [sic] attack of a law student who decided she wanted to utilize her first amendment rights to stand up for something she believed in. Limbaugh called her a 'slut' and a 'prostitute' for simply expressing her opinion."
