MLB All-Star Game: National League Wins

Baseball

For first time in 13 years.

The law of averages has prevailed: After a 13-year drought, the National League won Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game on Tuesday night. It was shaping up to be another defeat, until Braves catcher Brian McCann hit a three-run double off in the seventh inning. The American League’s sole run came off a sacrifice fly by Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano in the fifth. As a result of the victory, the National League will have home-field advantage in the World Series.
