Major League Baseball is looking into the controversial tweet fired off by umpire Rob Drake that threatened a “cival war [sic]” if the president is impeached, Commissioner Rob Manfred said. Drake tweeted—then deleted—the post on Tuesday, which said: “I will be buying an AR-15 tomorrow, because if you impeach MY PRESIDENT this way, YOU WILL HAVE ANOTHER CIVAL WAR!!! #MAGA2020.” The 50-year-old umpire has worked games since 1999 and joined the big league staff nearly 10 years ago.
