MLK Jr. Memorial to Be Dedicated

The official dedication of Washington's new Martin Luther King Jr. memorial will take place on Sunday, having been postponed for seven weeks due to Hurricane Irene. The program is expected to draw a crowd of 50,000 people, including several prominent celebrities and dignitaries. President Obama will kick off the program with a keynote address on Sunday morning before handing over the stage to Aretha Franklin, who is headlining the ceremony's entertainment. Members of the King family will also speak, along with civil-rights leaders Rev. Al Sharpton and Rev. Jesse Jackson.
