Monkey Escapes From Memphis Zoo

A 3-year-old Sulawesi macaque escaped from its enclosure at the Memphis Zoo on Thursday, making a run for freedom through the packed zoo’s garden. Zimm reportedly scaled her exhibit and found a hole to squeeze through. Zoo officials say they think the 10-pound monkey is still in the zoo, and likely hiding in a drain pipe. The escape comes days after a Minnesota zoo’s grizzly bear shattered its enclosure glass by repeatedly smashing it with a large rock.
