Nearly a dozen small fires broke out in the Galilee region of northern Israel Friday, while a massive wildfire burned in the nearby Carmel region. Authorities suspect Friday’s fires were set intentionally, after two bicycles and a wig were located in one area after the fire there had been extinguished. The fires have caused highway closures in some areas, and threaten communities throughout the region.
