Morgan Spurlock: I Was Once Accused of Rape

Filmmaker Morgan Spurlock revealed Wednesday that he was once accused of rape. In a long social-media post, Spurlock said he had a “one-night stand” in college: “She said she didn’t want to have sex, so we laid together, and talked, and kissed, and laughed, and then we started having sex.” Spurlock said the woman began crying, at which point he stopped. “She believed she was raped,” he said, adding: “I am part of the problem. We all are. But I am also part of the solution. By recognizing and openly admitting what I’ve done to further this terrible situation, I hope to empower the change within myself.”
